who canceled summer? why the HEDIS® 2018 season really starts now

by
June 28, 2017

Ah, summer. Time to relax, pat yourself on the back for a job well done for HEDIS® 2017, and think about something else for a change. Or is it?

Summer’s not exactly cancelled, but you’d be wise to devote some time to a few key initiatives that will help you get a jump on HEDIS 2018.

Please join me on Wednesday, July 19, for a webinar that’ll help you kick off summer quality improvement activities and ease your worries about what awaits you in the fall. Our team was beside you every step of the way throughout the HEDIS 2017 season, sharing our “tips from the trenches” to help you stay on track and meet your goals. This webinar is designed to do the same.

We’ll share the insights our team has gleaned from past seasons—Verscend was one of the first companies to help health plans with HEDIS more than 15 years ago—and some of the changes we’re seeing quality improvement departments undergo as their efforts are increasingly regarded as strategic contributors to organizational success.

And then we’ll walk you through those essential summer activities, such as:

  • Prospective summer runs to improve quality measures
  • Member and provider outreach using proactive letters and provider feedback reports
  • Hybrid measure chart reviews to prep for next season’s medical record review process

You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions at the end of the webinar. And, as a special bonus, we’re offering all webinar registrants a summary version of the report “Payer Quality Analytics 2017: From Regulatory Reporting to Quality Improvement,” by KLAS Research. Well-known among healthcare provider organizations for its in-depth assessments of critical software and services, KLAS has begun extending its methodologies into the payer arena. The report is based on 57 interviews with payers over the course of a year and reviews the capabilities of 18 quality measurement and reporting vendors.

We hope to see you Wednesday, July 19, at 1 p.m. ET!
